Cleaning the drain filter of a washing machine is a small maintenance job that can quickly turn into a wet mess. This practical water collection tray is designed to sit directly beneath the washing machine drain area, helping catch water, lint and small debris released when the filter is opened.
Its low-profile shape makes it particularly useful where the drain opening is positioned close to the floor, giving you a simple way to keep the surrounding area cleaner during routine washing machine maintenance.
A Simple Solution for Cleaner Washing Machine Maintenance
When a washing machine drain filter is opened, residual water can escape before the filter can be completely removed. Towels can absorb some of it, but they often leave the floor wet and make the job more difficult.
This collection tray provides a dedicated area for that water to drain into. Simply position it beneath the filter opening before beginning maintenance. The raised edges help contain the collected water, while the wide open surface also makes it easier to catch lint, hair and other small debris that may come out during cleaning.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is this washing machine water collection tray used for?
It is designed to collect residual water that may come out when opening or cleaning the washing machine drain filter. Instead of allowing the water to spread directly onto the floor, the tray provides a convenient collection area beneath the drain opening.
Can the tray also catch lint and debris from the washing machine filter?
Yes. During filter cleaning, small pieces of lint, hair and other debris can come out together with the remaining water. The wide tray can help collect both the water and loose material, making cleanup easier afterward.
Will this tray fit under every washing machine drain opening?
Compatibility depends on the height and position of the drain or filter opening on the individual washing machine. Before use, it is important to check that there is enough clearance beneath the opening for the tray to be positioned correctly.
A washing machine drain water collection tray offers a simple and reusable way to catch residual water, lint and debris while keeping routine filter maintenance cleaner and more convenient.
